Job Title: Visitor Services Assistant (Student Employment)
 
Revelstoke Railway Museum
 
Wage: $12.00 per hour

Job Description: Under the direction of the Gift Shop Manager, you will provide friendly and responsive visitor services in both the museum and the gift shop areas. You will be responsible for inventory counts and opening/closing procedures. You will assist with the day-to-day operations of Visitor Services, including front desk admissions and museum site orientation. A full job description is available at the Railway Museum front desk.

Education: Minimum of Grade 11 education required. Must be a student returning to full-time studies in the Fall.

Experience: Experience handling cash and POS systems. Having previous experience working in the tourism industry would be an asset.

Skills/Abilities: Self-motivated, organized and flexible with an outgoing personality who enjoys dealing with public and as part of a team. Must be available to work some evenings, weekends and stat holidays.
